Wow! Where do I start…I am so disappointed with this company. I had carpet installed in February and was very disappointed in the appearance of the carpet in my home. I had my family room, sunroom and an adjoining bedroom done. The carpet showed footprints, vacuum lines and shading throughout the area. I contacted 50Floors explained to them that I was not pleased with the look of the carpet in my home. I was told that I could have another consultant out to look at other samples and at my expense have another type of carpet installed. The consultant came out and suggested the vinyl laminate as a good option for me. I decided to go with that at an additional $6000.00 cost. I was disappointed in the carpet so much that I agreed that I could not live with it. On the day of the installation, the crew came out proceed to cut and remove the carpet and noticed that there was a slope in my family room that prevented the vinyl laminate from being installed. Since the carpet had been ripped and torn out, they had to place it back in place and have the consultant return to show me more samples. Of course, at this time we are back to square one. The same consultant came out with more samples of carpet, I made it completely clear to him as well as a customer service agent that I did not want carpet that showed a lot of vacuum lines and footprints. The consultant suggested Berber carpet. The samples that he showed me were what I assumed Berber, but they were cut and pile. The carpet was installed on yesterday. Again, vacuum lines, footprints and shading! I again at my expense paid an additional 3,377.00 for carpet that I made clear that I didn’t want. I spoke to two representatives today and of course, It is my fault. They advised that all of their carpets show vacuum lines and footprints and as long as their were no problems with the installation then there is nothing they can do. Please use caution when using this company. I would suggest more training for the sales technicians and making the customers needs and wants a priority. Three installations at my expense and still NOT pleased.
