May I view samples online?
50Floor provides free in home estimates and will bring the samples to you so that you can see them in the comfort of your home. There you can see the samples in your lighting against the color of your walls and your furniture. Because the samples are needed for the next appointment we cannot leave samples behind. So everyone that needs to be involved in color and style selection and in any purchasing decision should be present for the appointment. Request an appointment online here.
Will I be required to pay for an estimate for flooring?
No. 50Floor estimates are free and include a no-obligation quote.
Does 50Floor use sub-contractors?
50Floor partners exclusively with only a select group of flooring installers that we believe to be the best in the industry. We consider our expert installers to be the “heart” of our business. Our installers are background-checked, fully-insured, and skill-tested before performing any 50Floor installation.
Do I need to be present during the installation?
We advise that you are present. However, in the event you cannot be present, there must be an adult that you have authorized to confirm the product, approve the start of the installation, and provide the C.O.D. amount (if necessary) on your behalf.
Does 50Floor do backsplash, countertop, or shower installations?
At this time 50Floor does not do backsplash, countertop, or shower installations.
If I have my own flooring or buy flooring elsewhere will 50Floor install it?
In order to honor our 1-year installation warranty and the product warranty from 50Floor suppliers, we will only install products sold by 50Floor as part of the complete turn-key package.

Can my installation be completed in one day?
In most cases installation can be completed in one day. However, some products have a longer installation cycle than others. And all installations are unique, so some may take longer than a day.

Does 50Floor seal grout?
Sealing grout is as simple as spraying the sealer or brushing the sealer on the surface of the grout joints. If sealer gets on the tile it is easily wiped away with a paper towel. This is something that easily can be done by the homeowner. Follow the instructions on the grout sealer of your choice. 50Floor does not seal grout.
